Everything for decorating kids rooms is available from wall decorations to bedding and kids bedroom soft furnishings. It means absolutely gorgeous murals. Its actually a french phrase meaning "to fool the eye". A great example of how Mural Direct has embodied this style is seen directly from their customers. :)Above photograph comes courtesy of Steff L. from Australia that puts her interior design expertise to work. She uses  Mural Direct's "In Trance" mural to completely transform her blank wall into an oasis escape. The shear curtains adds to the already realistic look of the oceanic getaway and gives it a further kick into realism. Great idea. Simply adding to these wonderful printed murals only further accentuates the impact murals can have on any room. This is the real deal. There are many murals out there claiming 3D status when in fact are mere perspective drawings. These murals are NOT like that.

Mural Direct has come out with what I think is a futuristic step in to a new era for wallpaper murals. Real 3D murals! We are talking stunningly large prints that actually pop off the wall, using special MD3D glasses.

Not sure how this is done but J.C Moore simply puts it..

"Our murals are actually 3-D, specifically designed to work with specialty clear 3-D glasses to get that true 3-D effect."

The best thing about these murals is that they look great even without the 3D glasses. There is no blurry, two toned images like traditional red and blue 3D prints. These are full colour, high res images. What you see is what you get sort of deal. Wow! This is something you have to actually see to believe. Unbelievably these murals come with lifetime 3D glasses and the price isn't even jacked up.

"We wanted to showcase these murals as best we could, cause we really think we have a winner in our books, and we didn't see a need to jack up the price for something that is really cool. We want the public to be able to get their hands on these murals without having to worry about breaking their budget!"

I for one believe this will definitely change how we look at wallpaper murals, literally. Apparently this is just one of many more ideas Mural Direct has up their sleeve. This will definitely be a hard one to top but I can't wait to see what else they have in store for us.
Mural Direct just announced Mural Mondays! Every Monday a new mural will be featured  at a ridiculously crazy low price! We are talking up to 70% OFF. How the heck can they afford do this? I am not sure but I'll definitely be checking back every week. Who knows maybe there will be another mural that catches my eye and with a bargain like that I definitely won't pass up the chance to get it.
If you want to check out this weeks featured mural just click

Children Murals Wallpaper Biography

Qi Baishi (simplified Chinese: 齐白石; traditional Chinese: 齊白石; pinyin: Qí Báishí; Wade–Giles: Ch'i Pai-shih) (January 1, 1864 – September 16, 1957) was an influential Chinese painter.
Born to a peasant family from Xiangtan, Hunan, Qi became a carpenter at 14, and learned to paint by himself. After he turned 40, he traveled, visiting various scenic spots in China. After 1917 he settled in Beijing.
He is perhaps the most noted for the whimsical, often playful style of his watercolor works.
Some of Qi's major influences include the early Qing Dynasty painter Bada Shanren (八大山人 or Zhu Da) and the Ming Dynasty artist Xu Wei (徐渭).
His pseudonyms include Qí Huáng (齊璜) and Qí Wèiqīng (齐渭清). The subjects of his paintings include almost everything, commonly animals, scenery, figures, toys, vegetables, and so on. He theorized that "paintings must be something between likeness and unlikeness, much like today's vulgarians, but not like to cheat popular people". In his later years, many of his works depict mice, shrimp, or birds.
He was also good at seal carving and called himself "the fortune of three hundred stone seals".
In 1953 he was elected to the president of the Association of Chinese Artists. He died in Beijing in 1957. One of his paintings, Eagle Standing on Pine Tree, was sold for 425.5 million yuan ($65.5 million) in 2011, becoming one of the most expensive paintings ever sold at auction.[1]

Monument to Qi Baishi in the park named after him
He was born in Xiangtan Hunan and grew up in a family of low-income background. He lived with his parents, grandparents, and eight younger sisters and brothers. Qi Baishi was schooled for less than a year due to illness. However, he was too weak do much of the work and this was when he became a carpenter. While Qi Baishi was growing up, he came upon a Chinese manual of painting, this was what sparked his interest in art and painting animals, bugs and other types. In his painting, depict things that people have seen however, he didn’t start following this motto until much later in his life. He first studied the "Manual of the Mustard Seed Garden" (芥子園畫傳) and used performers, mainly opera, for models to practice his work. After using opera performers as models Qi Baishi turned to anyone he knew to pose for him and Baishi has lots of painting throughout his life and he became one of the best painters in China and he painted with oil paste and paint
[edit]Training and education

“Qi Baishi started receiving artistic training from Hu Qinyuan which consisted of fundamentals in gongbi mode, which features fine brushwork and meticulous detail” (Jung Ying Tsao p. 199). He was taught that every aspect of painting mattered, from the subject matter to the way the paint was applied to the paper. His landscape paintings came as a result of his next mentor Tan Pu. Because of his training, he then realized that he could peruse art as his full time career instead of just dreaming to become a professional artist (Jung Ying Tsao p. 199-201).
Baishi was popular for his variety of works ranging from plant to animal life; because of his natural style collectors both “artistic and political” purchased his work. According to the article, Qi Baishi [Ch’i Pai-shih; zi Huang; hao Baishi Laoren, Baishi Shanqeng]: "Baishi’s works were based on his life and his character. After the fall of the Qing dynasty Qi Baishi was known for not letting all the political issues affect his work, and keeping his own values and ideas through the harsh times. According to Confucian standards, starting off as nothing and creating a name for yourself, as Baishi did, was very honorable (Xiangtan p. 1).
Qi Baishi didn’t have any formal education or training in the field of art; however, he managed to master many different techniques including calligraphy and seal-carving. After establishing himself in Hunan, as a painter and artist, it wasn’t until his forties that he began traveling and looking for more inspiration. Baishi came upon the Shanghai School, which was very popular at the time, and met Wu Changshuo who then became another mentor to him and inspired a lot of Baishi’s works. Another influence of Baishi didn’t come until about fifteen years later who was Chen Shizeng who he became close to when he was living in Beijing. Baishi was becoming more and more well-known and sought after. During World War II, many traditional art works and culture were being destroyed and no longer things of value, but Baishi was still respected and was “elected to the National People’s Congress and made honorary Chairman of the National Artist’s’ Association, he represented a continuing commitment to traditional cultural values in revolutionary China” (Xiangtan, p. 1). He died at age 93.

Childrens Wallpaper Murals For Bedroom Biography

Joanne Kathleen Rowling was born on July 31, 1965, in Chipping Sodbury, near Bristol, England. A single mother living in Edinburgh, Scotland, Rowling became an international literary sensation in 1999, when the first three installments of her Harry Potter children's book series took over the top three slots of the New York Times best-seller list after achieving similar success in her native United Kingdom. The phenomenal response to Rowling's books culminated in July 2000, when the fourth volume in the series, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, became the fastest-selling book in history.
A graduate of Exeter University, Rowling moved to Portugal in 1990 to teach English. There, she met and married a Portuguese journalist. The couple's daughter, Jessica, was born in 1993. After her marriage ended in divorce, Rowling moved to Edinburgh with her daughter to live near her younger sister, Di. While struggling to support Jessica and herself on welfare, Rowling worked on a book, the idea for which had reportedly occurred to her while she was traveling on a train from Manchester to London in 1990. After a number of rejections, she was finally able to sell the book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (the word "Philosopher" was changed to "Sorcerer" for its publication in America), for the equivalent of about $4,000.
By the summer of 2000, the first three Harry Potter books; Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban had earned approximately $480 million in three years, with over 35 million copies in print in 35 languages. In July 2000, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire saw a first printing of 5.3 million copies and advance orders of over 1.8 million. Rowling, now one of Britain's richest women, plans a total of seven books in the series, each chronicling a year in the life of Harry Potter, a young wizard, and his motley band of cohorts at the Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The fifth installment, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, hit book stores on June 21st, 2003, roughly three years after the fourth book was released.
A film version of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, directed by Chris Columbus (Home Alone, Mrs. Doubtfire) was released on  November 16th, 2001. In its opening weekend in the U.S., the film debuted on a record 8,200 screens and smashed the previous box office record, earning an estimated $93.5 million ($20 million more than the previous recordholder, 1999's The Lost World: Jurassic Park). It ended the year as the top-grossing movie of 2001. The second film in the series, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, opened on November 15th, 2002 and had the third best opening weekend in box office history.
In late December 2001, Rowling married anesthetist Dr. Neil Murray at the couple's home in Scotland. Her second child and first son, David Gordon Rowling Murray, was born on March 24th, 2003, at the new Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh. To give herself more time to care for her son, Rowling planned less public appearances and book signings for the fifth book. Shortly after announcing that the sixth book in the Harry Potter series was completed, Rowling gave birth to her third child on January 23, 2005, a daughter named Mackenzie Jean Rowling Murray.
The sixth Harry Potter book, entitled Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, was officially released at 12:01 am on July 16th, 2005. To launch the book, Rowling organized an incredibly special event at Edinburgh Castle. She participated in several interviews, mostly with the younger Harry Potter readers. Her longest interview, and by far the most interesting, was conducted with none other than MuggleNet’s creator Emerson Spartz and Melissa Anelli from The Leaky Cauldron. It is widely agreed that the launch parties for the sixth book around the globe were more spectacular than any other Harry Potter book launch.
Right now, J.K. Rowling is in the process of writing Book 7; however, she "still has plenty to write," and neither a title nor a release date for the book has yet to be announced.

Wallpaper Biography
Wallpaper is the enigmatic onstage existence of Oakland music addict Eric Frederic. In another life, he fronts a prog-rock powerhouse (indie stalwarts Facing New York), but in this one, he's a pop-pushing kingpin as interested in art as artifice. The Wallpaper project began in early 2005 as tweaked satire, Frederic funneling his earliest influences (P-Funk, New Jack, East Bay rap) into two EPs of diced, digital beats and lyrics caricaturing the pop vernacular. But as the Hyphy hip-hop movement crested in Frederic's backyard, something changed. "I saw that classic Bay Area sound resurfacing," he says, "that same psychedelic, drippy, care-free, funky approach that reigned from Sly Stone to Digital Underground." He needed to pay tribute, and in a hail of house parties and homemade discs, Wallpaper was reborn as Ricky Reed, Frederic's disco-smashing doppelganger. This glitz 'n' grit champion of the groove has since become a gilded name in the underground, wooing crowds with a computerized croon, live reinventions of R&B classics, and tales of excess in the Information Age. Live, Wallpaper is joined by Arjun Singh on drums. They have blown spots alongside such notables as Subtle, Darondo, LA Riots, Electric Soft Parade, and Nino Moschella.A file containing a listing (e.g., assembly listing) or a transcript, esp. a file containing a transcript of all or part of a login session. (The idea was that the paper for such listings was essentially good only for wallpaper, as evidenced at Stanford, where it was used to cover windows.) Now rare, esp. since other systems have developed other terms for it (e.g., PHOTO on TWENEX). However, the Unix world doesn't have an equivalent term, so perhaps wallpaper will take hold there. The term probably originated on ITS, where the commands to begin and end transcript files were :WALBEG and :WALEND, with default file WALL PAPER (the space was a path delimiter). 2. The background pattern used on graphical workstations (this is techspeak under the `Windows' graphical user interface to MS-DOS). 3. `wallpaper file' n. The file that contains the wallpaper information before it is actually printed on paper. (Even if you don't intend ever to produce a real paper copy of the file, it is still called a wallpaper file.)On a computer that is provided with a desktop kind of user interface, wallpaper is the background pattern or picture against which desktop menus, icons, and other elements are displayed and moved around. A wallpaper image can be in a JPEG or a GIF file format. Wallpaper is commonly used in Microsoft Windows, Macintosh Mac OS, Linux, and in other operating systems as well. Each operating system provides several pre-installed wallpaper images for the user to choose from. A user can also choose to download and install third-party wallpapers and use one of these instead.

Typically, a wallpaper image may be centered, stretched, or tiled. When an image is centered, it is placed in the middle of the desktop and is surrounded by a solid color. When an image is stretched, it is stretched to cover all of the desktop. Only certain images can be stretched or they look distorted. An image that is tiled is placed on the desktop much like tiles are placed in a shower or a tiled floor. Tiling is commonly used for patterns instead of photos because a pattern is one square image that repeats itself across and down the screen, effectively forming a single image. On computers that use a desktop GUI, wallpaper is the monitor pattern or picture or other graphic representation that forms the background onto which all the icons, menus and other elements of the operating system are displayed and moved around. An operating system will typically come with pre-installed images to set as the wallpaper and will also allow users to install their own images to be used as the wallpaper. The wallpaper always stays in the background, and all work is done on top of the wallpaper Citrix XenDesktop together with Wyse Xenith — the only next-generation zero
